I have just spent a lovely afternoon at Chester Cathedral demonstrating willow sculpture as part of the artist's programme for the Cheshire Artist's Network exhibition "In All It's Glory" that will be there until 27th October. All artwork has been inspired by the fabric of this amazing building. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
I am showing a group of Talbot Hounds inspired by the dog sculpted on the memorial to the First Duke of Westminster which resides in the South Transept of the cathedral. The willow dogs are for sale through the cathedral with a percentage going to the cathedral funds. I will try and get a photo linked to this blog post when I get chance.
