My return to Castle Park Arts Centre
Willow sculpture workshops are back at Castle Park
I ran the first Willow Sculpture Workshop back at Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham last week since the first lockdown. It was lovely to be back. I will be running regular dates there again throughout 2022.
The room is large so even with the maximum number of 6 participants we can stay well spread out with everyone having their own table. There is an outside door which will remain open along with opening skylights so airflow through the room is great. It all feels very safe.

I have loved and been inspired by the natural world since I was a child and the ability to work as a Willow Artist and make willow sculptures representing the essence of animals, birds and other living forms brings me great pleasure. I love to represent movement and vitality in my work. My willow sculptures appear to have just paused in their setting before they are ready to move on. One of the nicest things anyone has said about my animal sculptures is that you can always see where they are looking!
